4.1 Retention of Your Personal Information and Data

The Company will retain your personal information and data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We will retain and use your personal information and data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. The Company will also retain your usage data for internal analysis purposes. 5. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The security of your personal information and data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information and data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company may have access to your personal information or data. CarPot uses third-party cloud infrastructure providers with data centers located in the United States. These third-party vendors collect, store, use, process and transfer information about your activity on our platform in accordance with their privacy policies.In the event of a data breach affecting personal information as defined under Massachusetts law, CarPot will comply with all applicable notification requirements under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93H. We will promptly notify affected individuals and, where required, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation.

6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Platform like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Platform. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Platform.
